She is also an investment consultant for SoftBank Vision Fund Israel. She is focusing on technology due diligence in various technologies: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Ag-Tech, Health-Tech, Food-Tech, Deep Technology and more.
In her previous role Dr. Idan was the Executive Vice President for Research and Development at RAFAEL – Advanced Defense Systems Ltd., Israel’s third largest defense company. RAFAEL is a global leader and pioneer in the development of breakthrough defense systems, including an array of innovative solutions for land, naval, underwater, and space applications, air superiority, and cyber security.
Dr. Idan received her Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the Faculty of Physics at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in 1994. She serves on the Board of Directors of several companies, both in Israel and abroad, and is a member of the Technion Council and the Technion International Board of Governors
